Not to mention Qgil (who works for Nokia) has said they are making sure the hardware in the N900 is functional for Meego since Nokia intends to use the N900 as a developmental platform.

Now whether that means ALL functionality such as IR or FM transmitter works we don't know. At the bare mininum I would assume any similar hardware features that the N900 shares in common with its successor such as CPU, GPU, GPS, bluetooth, etc will be supported in Meego.

Now this does not mean official support! For example, as I like to put it. It's entirely possible there will be no Ovi Maps, no email client, etc. We may not have a GUI that even resembles what Nokia is building. If we can expect anything, it'll be a barebones build with fuctioning hardware but nothing else.

I thimk that's why Nokia has been saying some may want to stay with Maemo, some may want to switch to Meego, and some will want to dual boot.
