I know the "wires" don't put out any amps, but you do get a certain amount of amps when the wires are connected to a PC. My Nokia AC-4U charger puts out 890mA when charging. What I was asking was basically how many mA you can draw from these adapters when connected to a USB port.
890mA is a pretty high output for a charger and seems to charge my N800 pretty fast. Charging via USB must take quite a bit longer.
