No it doesn't from the repositories, Vodafone has a a version 205 firmware that is the only one that has not been updated to version 1.1.1 There is nothing in the vodafone version that is vodafone specific except the hard coded apn that I can see so I personally cannot see any reason for Vodafone to drag its feet. This has been mentioned many times on other forums and Vodafone themselves stated somewhere as long the firmware was official Nokia firmware the warranties would not be voided. rgds
A widget that would allow branded handsets to pick available updates that have not been received OTA from Nokia. An example i'm on vodafone and still waiting for 1.1.1 and no doubt will be doing the same for 1.2! I understand / learning that I can flash to this upgrade (and plan to try this weekend), but was just thinking out load that it would be cool if i could just press a widget and could force a missing upgrade to my handset rather than having to chase it through different sites. Hope this makes sense?
