My last unpublished post was the coup de grace. I wasn't nasty, but I somehow knew it wasn't getting through his biased filter. Too many nails in his logic coffin.
Gee, things the N800 can do today the current iPhone CANNOT: VoIP through any SIP provider with full STUN compatibility Skype ScummVM, Star Control II, FreeCiv, and Wesnoth (my favs) Not one but TWO browsers (the Safari-based Webkit can also be compiled for it for a total of three different browsers) Flash 9 support (you know, for the "real internet") 16 GB of REMOVABLE storage space (32GB coming soon with 16GB SDHC cards coming down the pipe) dual/triple-booting into alternate operating systems Actual video chat/calling Use 3G via tethering to a 3G-enabled phone Removable, user-replaceable battery standard mini-USB port for data transfer Ability to use Bluetooth GPS receivers Ability to use Bluetooth keyboards A2DP stereo Bluetooth capability (WTF was Apple thinking leaving THIS one out at launch?) Also, someone has already created a new soft-keyboard that mimics the iPhone's keyboard only it's a little more usable due to larger touchscreen real estate. And the N800 default "thumb" keyboard is frickin' huge and quick to type on compared to the iPhone keyboard.
