tso's suggestion works, assuming you originally installed Maemo Mapper via the Application Manager. In this case, though, you should verify that (1) You're running the most reason version of your device's firmware; and (2) The repository config in the Application Manager refers to the "gregale" distribution (not "mistral").

Of course, if you didn't use the Application Manager the first time around, you can just add the repository to Application Manager and subsequentluy follow tso's advice.

Or, you can just use the .install file. You don't have to uninstall the older version. Just open the .install file and the upgrade happens automatically. Gone are the old Windows application days of "uninstall old version, then install new version." Life is good.
