Maybe it just sends the output to the dumpfile instead of your speakers but still plays the stream?
well thats the problem -what should i name the dumpfile -help with the code would be appreciated


so far i input
mplayer http://............ -dumpstream -dumpfile /media/mmc2/music-would this be correct
