I have not heard of such a new-type of battery. The technology used for the batteries of Nokia is based on lithium and is pretty much developed to the end: The laws of physics prevent them from being any more "energetic per mass".

If I remember correctly, every single battery of Nokia has automatically a warranty of six months from the date of purchase. If the battery goes bad before that it has been defective...
