I think its more to do with the fact Maemo is now finished or close to ending its life. Meego is the new OS and since the N900 will eventually get meego (http://maemoarena.com/2010/05/meego-...on-this-month/), it seems more logical to concentrate all their efforts into ensuring meego gets the best flash support since I bet most of us will upgrade once a useable form of meego is released. I do agree it sucks not to have an upgrade for Maemo, but I'd rather get a better working Meego.
