I was under the impression that BT required low energy consumption but it seems that when tethered to my N800 to create an internet connection the battery on my Moto V3xx drains rather quickly.. obviously this leads me to believe that the data transfer required to provide a net access point to my N800 is draining battery from my phone..

I guess I'm curious if this happens to everyone.. if not then how can I start troubleshooting this issue?
