The MeeGo project announced that this release in May will come with Netbook UX only. The next MeeGo stable release will come in Q4. The MeeGo project will move to open development after May so yes, you won't need to wait until October to see and even test the Handset UX while it gets stable. All this refers to MeeGo, the open project by the Linux Foundation releasing a 100% free OS. If you are interested in the MeeGo based release from Nokia with all the Nokia commercial bits on top, then you need to wait for news from Nokia.
