So 16gb of data on the two SD cards is safe then?

From what I have seen, the case arrangement on the N770 was nigh on perfect, so why then did Nokia make the decision to dump it? Can’t we have it back for the N800?
SD cards are not magnetic storage. Hard drives are, but even they wouldn't be affected. The only things that are really affected by magnets are cassette tapes and color TVs.
