Tried dist-upgrade too, out of the same reason (moved apt-cache).. Update went through, however now I am stuck inside a reboot loop. I get to the (gray, gnome-style looking) PIN input field, after entering the PIN it reboots, then I get to what looks like the desktop with an empty, pink status area, then reboot..

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
