When I've a gps problem, I try :
- disable gps from Mapper and shut down Mapper,
- power off gps ...(wait some seconds)... power it on,
- go to the config panel, bluetooth, delete gps, scan for new ... and found/add/pair the gps,
- load Mapper, go to Settings, scan for GPS...select it,
- enable gps in Mapper.
