If everyone goes in an buys zenbound I'm sure they'll happily port it. It's all about the make money money make money money money.
Note how these apps (e.g. pogosticker) are freeware and not open source - i.e. we need to reply on Secret Exit to do this.

Nokia are a business and have chosen a path of using the OSS community phenomenon to reduce their overheads specifically after sales support and development. Unlike Apple who do the opposite and make a killing from their Applications store.
