Step 1:

Start LXDE

Open Synaptic

Remove all curent respitories

Add these:

URL is http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu Distribution is dapper Sections are main restricted

and

URL is http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu Distribution is dapper-security Sections are main restricted

Reload the package list

If sudo is not installed, install it

Close Synaptic
