I am also worried because, not even a week after i got my N900 from Nokia Store in London, UK, i noticed a few dead pixels on the phone, very annoying so i had to take it back. They then gave me a new one. But i am worried that the unit they gave me might have been pre-production. Is there a way to find out? I read online that the problem with the usb pin used to happen with the pre production units. Any advice? Thanks alot. x
Dont stress about it mate, Nokia in the UK are pretty good at replacing the handset if the usb port has come out.

I got mine replaced like yourself via UPS, it took about a week before i got my new device.

I did attach the following link when i was filling out the collection form: http://discussions.nokia.co.uk/t5/Ma...ng/td-p/629019

The link clearly identifies nokia taking responsibility for the design flaw. Not sure about the pre-production device? My replacement phoned looked brand new so can't complain, as long as it works is what i live by

hehe
