I just like being able to throw boxes around the page - I use PagePlus on my PC for most thing rather then a wordprocessor unless it something realy simple then I just us wordpad. I no nothing much of lyX but a quick look at the website make it seam quite interesting tho. thanks for the suggestion. I personally cant port anything at the moment - did some very simple scripting and programing very many years ago...
