Because those applications were built for that f*cking firmware. The f*cking SDK has been out, it is up to the developer to repackage it.

Warning: Promotion of experimental Qt based applications (qt4-maemo5) is blocked due to possible conflicts with upcoming Maemo 5 releases. See this post for more information. If you want to promote your application, you should switch to libqt4 instead of libqt4-maemo5. The builder now has Qt 4.6 support. (PR1.2 SDK)
