I'm beginning to think the same. I have same kind of problem and calibration tool does nothing. Calibration is about 2mm off all over the screen.

Also I'm thinking that is this after all a software fault and not hardware because my screen got changed in service and it didn't help at all. I took it back there today and will see what happens.
