I'm too lazy to search but the n900 was supposed to be base for MeeGo development. That's why we have the latest version of Qt and whatnot. This ensures that the developers can build apps for MeeGo while MeeGo is being developed. Ovi Maps and the other Ovi services on symbian aren't built with Qt. As they get ported to Qt, they are brought to the n900. If Ovi Maps, with voice nav is built anytime soon, it'll be tested on the n900 and not a MeeGo device because a MeeGo device wouldn't be out or made by then. Now it is completely up to Nokia to give us this new version, it would be stupid if they didn't
