Have you changed saving directory?
I have discovered that if you change saving directory it stop working depending on the name of the directory.
Infact one I created a Dir called "Phone Record" and I discovered that the space is not recognized and would activate the "green" led without recording any conversation.
Then I changed in "Recording" and it started to work again.
