i am new here and can be considered a newb when it comes to Maemo and N900. I am, however, also a geek. By being a geek I have the gift of doing thorough research online and in manuals before and after buying a product. The N900 was no different. Many who might get busted up for asking stupid questions usually get what they have coming. If they get kicked over for having a issue with their device that isn't solved in another thread, or in the wiki, etc. that obviously isn't deserved. Those who confront another members problem with "buy a new phone" or equivalent is also, obviously, a person who have no idea on how to solve the problem, or want to contribute to fixing the problem, rather just try to impose their self-given image of superiority -- based on ignorance and idiocy. Or just a troll who should get ridden off.
That said, everyone active online in discussions must be aware about being irrationaly bashed by some ***** sooner or lateer. Its the advantage of being behind a screen. No one can hit you for being an idiot.
