well i never said that there is no risk. but again: the probability of teh thief owning an n900 himself or knowing the shortcut are so small that its not worth mentioning. everyone decides for himself if he or she wants to enter this risk.

concerning grabbing the battery: well you can remove the battery with every similar app. this app might be usefull in places like the gym, when you go to the toilet for e.g, where other people are around, as soon as the alarm goes off it draws attention and i doubt that the thief will want to remove the battery when people are looking at him.

but given that it can be shut down using the power key i wouldnt download it.
