First off many thanks to GNuite for Mapper - Dogs doodas
I seem to have a problem with my 770 RAM and it going into a "Auto reboot loop" - whether its just mine or something others have experienced I dunno but on this occasion it seems that Mapper, or at least a trying to open a saved GPX route has thrown it into this state.
During the last week I have been able to load Mapper OK providing no Route was "open". If a Route or Track was open when Mapper was closed then it would seem I needed to launch Mapper twice to get it to open - the first time nothing happened. I seemed to be able to replicate this over and over again. I've also noticed that when opening a previous saved GPX file it can take some time for Mapper to open.
Anyway, I was out on my bike today using Maemo Mapper to record my route (to pass along to other MTB'ers) as a GPX file. Mapper worked OK and when I came to the end disabled GPS and it saved my route - this turned out to be a 1.2MB file. It then seemed to "Freeze" and my only option was to take the battery out and start again.
Since then I've been unable to start any application longer than 30 secs or so. I can't get Mapper to load at all and on the odd occasion I have been able to open Control Panel->Memory the useage for Device is either 82% or 100%.
Looks like my only option is another flash and start again
My track was about 45 Miles, is the 1.2MB what you might expect ?
The route files saved when "Downloaded" from within Mapper seem much smaller (without altitude) and have loaded pretty much in an instance.
Best Regards
