Sticking to the subject I am with you.
I bought N900 for one common reason, To be able to continue flash development for mobile devices. I've decided to get N900 because It was like perfect geeky device with open source OS, great hardware and I even love the "male" design of it. By accident I founded myself loving N900 for many other reasons but not the main one.
Lack of Flash 10.1 is a big issue for me. Since flash guys already putting live to their applications I'm outdated on the market. And again, who will be first is the winner that how this world operating. For sure not me, because 6 months is actually huge delay.
I can blame on myself for this decision. I don't really have another $500 to spend at the moment and I'm very fresh Nokia user. (3 months before I bought N900 I've got N97 and passed it to my girlfriend.) But after all, for sure I will keep my N900 and for sure it will be the last Nokia device. Every one deserve for a bit credit of trust. Nokia had a chance from me ...failed.
I'm not saying any other company is better here. I had chance to prepare little flash banner campaign for Palm and play around with those devices Pre and Pixi.
Also seen the way how they will present this device to the world. If you looking for development platform even if will get flash 10.1 this is
definitely
not for you. To compare to what they promising and showing in adds to the reality Palm is even worst than Nokia.
But this is my only personal opinion of course.
Because I will keep my N900.. who knows, maybe Flash 10.1 will happen some day, but that will not change my opinion about company itself.
