+1 @ WONTBUY. But I have it already ... The vsync problem goes much deeper actually, not only vsync is missing but buffer swaps are missing too, so everything gets blitted around several times before displayed, wasting gpu cycles and power. The tearing is always there on the n900, some may not notice because they are used to it.
The reasoning behind this WONTFIX was basically that it would need SGX driver update and this would be too hard to test
