I often see faulty phones such as the iPhone on ebay selling for ridicules amounts of money, maybe only saving $150 on a working unit. I saw one the other day that had been dropped in salt water and it was over $300, tell me that's ever going to be repairable, the insides will be totally corroded.

So Im wondering if the people who buy faulty phones with the intent of repairing them actually do or just hope there going to be lucky and get it working by rubbing it on there shirt or something.

im hoping to buy a new cpu somewhere, and put it in the n900 with the dead cpu, :P or at least my friends hopes to do all this...
