More desktops will use more power.. Though pretty moderate. The more widgets on this desktops will probably use more power though.. I don't remember how you do it.

Instead of doing the wiz way with "vi" you could download and install "leafpad". And then open the file with "leafpad /home/opt/catorise/menu" in xterminal.. in there it is pretty self explainatory. Just move the category for the program you like to move.
