Here's a thread where I posted a
script
to backup /home/user/ (excluding MyDocs). I believe all the things you want to backup are in the /home/user directory. Worst case, it'd be 1.9GB, mine runs around 200-300MB.
It backs up to the MyDocs/tmp directory, easily changeable, so if you're already backing up your MyDocs, just run it first. You can also backup /opt as well.
You ought to be able to exclude other directories if you want as well to reduce size.
