surely it can't be outdated information as Nokia would know who updated and therefore know who not to send the message to? Seriously if this is the case then I have lost all hope with nokia!

Not only do they take information but then they don't even remember what the info was... I know this may not be the exact problem but it pains me even more that Nokia is actuall smsing people about the update as if it fixes loads of problems when all it really does is create new ones... I love my N900 but Nokia as a business suck!
