As it stands, you're blissfully happy not knowing. I'm curious enough to ask questions. Care to share what's wrong with that as well while I'm asking?

Instead of obstinate opinion, take the hint from what I had done above; prove it.

You've proven nothing thus far. I've listed out links that shot down your "I didn't know they did it before" wasteful banter from earlier.

Waste my time no longer. Put up your proof. I'll wait. Address me only with that proof.

Thanks in advance. Official links only, btw. Follow my lead.
what should i prove? that it'd be unwise imo to publish maemo sales figures? do you expect this sentence to show up in a nokia annual report?

anyway, you're getting it all wrong. i'd love to have detailed maemo sales figures for every device, month by month, region by region. i'd pay for this information. i keep searching for hints. i started a thread here to collect information about how successful (or not) the n900 is.

but: i do understand very well that they don't tell. i wouldn't. nothing to gain, too much risk. actually, as a consumer, i think in the end it'd be against my interest would nokia publish those figures. i'd be happy for a moment but would have to live with unpleasant consequences.

i don't know what makes you think i'm not curious.....
