What makes it hard to find working links is that so many places are now using less "open" formats than the the ones supported by the 770. I hope that a lot of us write (try postal mail - these days a real letter showing up gets some attention) to various television houses like BBC. ITV, NBC, or whatever interests you. Politely point out that using an open streaming format gives them a broader audience, especially with people on a tight budget or in places where it is not as easy to stay current with one's equipment or software. Mentioning that an inexpensive device like the 770 provides an easy way to test if the video stream is likely to be useable by inexpensive computers running open source software, or an older computer that can't support advanced proprietary formats. The most that any of us will be out is a little time, some paper, a few envelopes and some postage.

Streaming video links seem to go dead faster than most other links. If they aren't dead, they are changed to formats like Window Media, Flash, or QuickTime. It's hard to find links that work with bare bones IT OS 2006. My intent is to delete any dead ones that I have posted in this thread. If anyone notices one of their demise, please post a note so that I can delete it from my posts. Thanks!
