I like the idea of this program. I want to show it to my daughter and maybe use it for rapid / ad hoc development needs. But I can't get it to "Run" my projects.

I installed the Windows version and all the Windows dependencies (python, GTK, etc.) as per the instructions on an XP machine. I created a "Hello World" project and hit "Run". I got this error message:

---------------------------
python.exe - Entry Point Not Found
---------------------------
The procedure entry point g_dgettext could not be located in the dynamic link library libglib-2.0-0.dll.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

During the GTK installation, I told it to set the PATH variable, but I can see that it didn't. So I did this myself. I went to My Computer / Properties / Advanced / Environmental Variables and added this to the PATH:

C:\Program Files\GTK2-Runtime\bin

This is where libglib-2.0-0.dll is -- I verified this.

Is the space in "Program Files" tripping it up? I didn't install it to the suggested folder, I admit.

I'm guessing this problem wouldn't occur if I installed it in Linux, but I can't always use Linux (alas).
