I just found another way to temporary fix the problem.
Just rename hildon.menu to some other name and then back again.
e.g.

mv hildon.men hildon.menu.notnow
sleep 1
mv hildon.menu.notnow hildon.menu

Maybe this could be a trigger to really solve the problem!
