So, those sites would work fine on the n900.

I'm trying to understand if the OP has an actual problem, or a theoretical problem. Because before I used the n900, I was doing the same kind of things with 320x240 screens and winmo with its opera browser and I never had a problem other then needing to scroll like mad to interact with the appliance.
