@rnb89: None that I know of. But I'm not sure about what system Catorise uses (And here I'll admit to my lacking knowledge about repositories: Is Categorise open source? Could I download a copy of the source code in order to take a look at it's inner workings?).

I fear it uses a totally different approach, but maybe it could still hint on a way to incorporate the re-arrange feature (and thus also make everything more stable, since our changes wouldn't be overwritten by that feature anymore).

(Btw, updating the Appendix right now - trying to get a feeling for which unwanted behaviour hints on what kind of mistake)
