hmmm where to start....
"THOUSANDS of free ringtones, nada, zip, nowt, free !!!!!!, there was a thread here yesterday a guy asking would you play $1 for a n900 theme.....hmm imagine paying for content/apps !!!"
Hmm, perhaps because the iPhone cannot access the webpage itself without losing critical experience, unlike the N900...?
"again more FREE apps than you would believe, sky news, sky sports news, espn news, met office weather, autotrader, share tracker, XE Currency convertor...I think you bringing up apps was a bad idea."
Read the above. You even get to read the news using the RSS widget reader! NO need to wait for app opening!
"like the open standards the n900 supports ???? that would be caldav / Imap IDLE / Funambol etc ??"
Like being able to easily flash a firmware, have a root terminal, be able to contribute back to the Linux tree, etc?
"....will nokia give me a free battery for my n900 and 5300 ?????"
At least you have a choice to replace your battery on the go. Out in the weekend without a charger with the iPhone vs out in the weekend without a charger with the N900? The choice is clear.
....exactly, and thats how I like it, with nokia it was "i give money"........and well thats about it really, nothing in return for my cash."
With Apple, it was more like my
"hmmm....show me one actually paying for and I'll buy it."
???
"The new iphone os 4.0 is FREE to even the older 3g iphones, although no multitasking due to hardware constraints, but it is this level of support that Nokia can only dream of, patiently we waited MONTHS for the utterly rubbish pr1.2, theres no comparison"
Bwahahahaha. Utterly rubbish? Well,

"Can I ask how many people here who slate iphone actually OWN one ???? I own both n900 and 3gs, so I can make comparisons. The fanbois on here can't see the n900 is a dead project, nokia are selling in India and anywhere else to clear their stockroom out, their intentions for n900 have been made crystal clear."
Is increasing distribution area a bad corporate decision? I'd wager all sane person will call it a smart move.
No dont I will be flamed for this, but all the above is the TRUTH and FACTS, but some/alot of iPhone owners are in denial.
