The reason why so many people dont like n900 and intend to switch to another phone like Iphone or Android os phone is that may be placed on the fact that it is little difficult to use.
I am not talking about the UI or touch ability. I am talking about the support application, how to install , how to enable repositories, X-terminal, Hacking, rootfs..and many other things.

Yes, these may be no problem and may be great for people who are programer, coder, or developer. Why?
Because they know what Linux is, they know how to use X-terminal, hack, and develop something new for the phone. And many things

But How about people who dont know anything like me !!?
I am not a programmer, or tech guy. i work at hospital and not really have much change to learn new tech.
I was first got real problem how to use and understand the basic function of N900. I am not talking about how to use web and calling, or ADD widget. I am talking bout how to het more applications in App mamager, how to use X-terminal, how to connect the phone to pc and looking path and folder.

If people dont know how to enable extras-testing or devel..they will get boring and frustrated with the phone very soon. Nothing very great and there arent many apps without them

Dont know how to use X-termial?. It is kinda Cra*.
When N900 first released, i think many apps had to install through X-terminal. And now still have to use it.
I know, n900 get better now..but no enough to satisfy its customers

And, the help for new owners is bad.. I read many guide.i i think they need to take writing class to learn how to guide and clear the confusing of readers.
Just like you are programmers and sitting in a room and listening to a doctor talk about human structures and kinda stuff like that.
That would fuc* me up.

For Iphone, its great and very easy to use. We may be concern about jailbreak to get free and full access to carrier and other things. But it is not a problem any more. And it now has many many apps.
And of course, it is not so complicated like N900
