I used to believe that probability suggested intelligent life in great numbers.

Then I learned that there are significant natural forces at work against intelligent life arising.

So I still believe life is plentiful throughout the universe, but intelligence is rare.

I suspect UFOs are a mix of mistakes, experimental craft, and time travelers from the future.
