Expecting Nokia to answer is simply futile. They'll present the FP 10.1 for whatever device will get it, deliver that and answer nothing. That non-answer/silence is your answer.

And since it's in production now (FP 10.1 for mobile devices) and Nokia hasn't decided to ride the crest of the press releases by Adobe to state explicitly that it is, or is not coming to the Maemo 5 platform is indicative of what will happen.

Absolutely nothing. If they have planned to do something, the time to announce it is now because it is a known item/deal and there are no more NDA's in the way. Released software is usually spoken about.

Contact Nokia all you wish. You will not receive a yes/no answer. There are no announcements yet, so curb the hope that it'll come to the Nokia N900 from Nokia, hope that some enterprising folks find a way to "square peg, round hole" shove it onto your N900 from the MeeGo device.

And even that logic is flawed, if not... delayed. FP 10.1 has to be released (it has) and also a MeeGo device has to be released (it hasn't). So now the second condition has to be met.

More waiting. I'll take my time and business elsewhere if I were impatient or tired of Nokia's silence.
