yea, i will definitely be trying a reflash, probably just do the image first, rather not have to reflash the emmc if i don't have to. Really happened with poor timing, as i am on vacation and thought why bother lugging a giant laptop around when i can do all the email/browsing i want with this handy n900. now i am stuck, relatively out of contact with everything. Since i am forced to use public computers (without installation priviledges) i have no way of even attempting a reflash until i make it back home.

the flasher program doesn't appear to have a portable version, but i was able to simulate such a beast by extracting the contents of the msi and putting it all in the same directory. I uploaded the contents here: http://stashbox.org/manage_file/934566/flasher35.zip (for anyone else brave enough to follow i guess haha). I am really unsure of how safe it would be to attempt a reflash like this. If anyone can give me some feedback with their thoughts on this and how dangerous it may or may not be please do. I don't NEED my phone at all on vacation, so i don't want to do anything irreversible.
