I just tried the 1150 setting...but ended up with the Error opening file thing.. first time I had seen this.
fyi, I had just put on the applet for cpufreq to try, instead of using the cmd line to input the kernel-config limits cmd.

@1150 settings:

After a reboot, error went away on the slower speeds..havent tried 1150 again yet.
