That's not surprising. But at least you have multi-tasking now. I've always been of the belief that let the user make the decisions. If they want to multi-task and drain the battery, let them. If they want to install devel apps, let them (after a bit of a warning).

Another metric I always wondered about is talk time. I don't give a **** about how long I can talk on the phone. Give me an estimated time that I can use the data connection. What I said goes for all companies and products out there.

Yeah, that is pretty much the main reason I will never buy an iPhone. But I'll use one if it's given to me for free or as a gift. Probably jailbreak and tether it to the N900 and use it for some apps I want on the N900 (shazam, and some AR location apps).
