Well, despite the flasher appearing to function fine in "portable" mode, Vista/7 still requires the nokia usb rom drivers to be installed. I think these are the nokia cable connectivity drivers, not sure tho. If it is, i have those extracted from its MSI file, but not enough of a windows guru to know how to manually install usb drivers or if it is even possible to do such a thing without admin privs. In the end i guess i will just wait until i get home to reflash and see what happens.

@jostefan13 can you tell me where you got the digitizer, how much it costed, and where to find directions on how to remove/replace it? If i have to go down that road, might as well grab some info from someone who's already been there (or close to it at least).
