I know it's a hardware issue. Someone said that it was a video chipset of some sorts. Has anyone tried to physically repair or replace this chipset? I've just gotten tired of reading and seeing Nokia screw people and not fix a design flaw. And if anybody wants to donate their paperweight, I will try and see what I can do. Nothing to lose if it's already broke and out of warranty. I've got a few schematics and a little working knowledge of circuit boards and would like to try it.
