If you dont know how to do that, you might not want to. Also you will lose your Warranty, at least if they can figure out that the device has been overclocked. At 1Ghz the N900 becomes unstable for some people. You have been warned, here is how to make the scripts.


Create two new files within the /usr/local/bin directory called underclock and overclock

Paste the contents of the yellow boxes (except the first line where it says filename) into the files respectively

run these commands in the n900's terminal

sudo gainroot
chmod 755 /usr/local/bin/underclock
chmod 755 /usr/local/bin/overclock
