Not quite so in the UK

Carphone Warehouse defintaly do not market the phone as step 4/5 of an experimental device, neither does Vodaphone and im not even sure Nokia marketed that way on its website

That said I do like the flexibility of the devices, and I did read it as a 4/5ths device before I got mine, and yes mine was from CPW as Vodaphone made a right mess of my order, the only downside is that im tied into a 2 year contract
