That explains why, even though I've followed the instructions here to the letter, I've had a terrible time trying to get Lucid to run in a chroot. It seems very unstable and crash-prone...

Now I know why.

But still, I've had some limited success...



EDIT: I'm wondering if my recent upgrade to the Power User Kernel has fixed things, because it seems to be working better than it ever did before... is that possible?
