They still make them. Just have to step down in terms of features and price.

For the record, I keep a lowly Motorola F3 just in case. It's never failed me in 3 years, works like I need it to and at the rate I've been thinking... might become my main phone after all because I'm tired of being a slave to wonky updates, new OS promises that never fully materialize, fanboys that argue incessantly like the old "Taste Great, Less Filling" arguments and above all... I'm bore with technology that doesn't make my life better.
