just first check that you have call waiting service enabled from service provider. For this you have to dial USSD supplementary code from your mobile.

For status of call waiting dial *#43#
For Activating dial *43#
For Deactivating dial #43#.

The above depends upon your service provider. The above codes are not working with my service provider.
